App Update #5: TikTok Login & Faster Chat – Because You Deserve Better!

It’s been a while since our last update – mostly because we had to wait quite a bit for TikTok to approve our access to their APIs. But the wait was worth it!

🎬 TikTok Login – Your Videos, Now on BokBok

The biggest news: you can now log in with TikTok.

If you already have great TikTok videos, why not use them on BokBok too? Until now, you could either record a new video or upload one from your gallery. Now there’s a third option – select a video directly from your TikTok profile.

How it works:

1. Log in with TikTok

2. Choose the videos you want to use

3. Done – your profile is ready to go

Less hassle for you, more authentic video profiles for everyone. Win-win.

💬 Chat, but Better

The chat already worked well, but now it’s even smoother and faster.

We’ve optimized the entire chat system – messages send quicker, the app feels more responsive, and a few rare bugs have been ironed out.

Bottom line: conversations now flow like silk.

🔧 Tech Upgrades (For the Curious Ones)

We’ve done a lot under the hood:

• Updated all dependencies to the latest versions

• Replaced outdated packages with more modern, reliable ones

• Refactored key parts of the codebase to make it cleaner and easier to maintain

Think of it like cleaning out a closet. It may look the same from the outside, but now everything inside is neat, tidy, and exactly where it should be.
